All student accommodation is located close to
shops and public transport to ensure convenient shopping and easy access to
the city centre and education institutions. The rental properties are all
located within two bus zones from the city centre.
E. L. Property Management shared student accommodation, are fully furnished
flats, units, houses and townhouses. Tenants rent a single room (with
individual lock) and share communal areas i.e. kitchen, living/ dining rooms
and bathrooms. We have some share rooms which can be rented by two friends
together. Tenants provide their own food and they do their own cooking. The
rooms are furnished with a single bed and good mattress, wardrobe with three
drawers, study desk and desk chair.
With the exception of casual student accommodation, all properties require
students to sign a General Tenancy Agreement for 6 - 12 months and pay a
bond, which is equivalent to four weeks rent. This bond is lodged with the
Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA).
There is a one-off linen cleaning fee of AUD 50 (single) or AUD 70 (double)
including GST which is paid at the beginning of the tenancy. Each bed has a
mattress protector, quilt, quilt cover, pillow, pillowcase and Sheets. There
is no key deposit to pay. Single rooms require a lease rent from AUD 110 -
215 per week. Rent at most leased properties includes gas, electricity and
waters costs.
Internet connection is available in most properties but must be connected
and maintained by the Students, please ensure that the property of your
choice has this facility, should you require internet connection.
